Cairngorm Sportives

Quad burning ascents. Heart racing descents. Majestic mountain scenery. Rider camaraderie. Highland hospitality.

At Hands On Events, we know that the best cyclosportives are about passionate people coming together to challenge themselves in spectacular landscapes.

STUNNING SCENERY FROM THE HEART OF THE CAIRNGORM MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK

Finish on Scotland’s Alpe D’huez!  The routes take you from the heights of Cairngorm through the north of the Spey Valley and then back up an alpine style climb finishing at 632m!  This lesser known area has stunning scenery and quiet roads. Pass some of the world’s most famous whisky distilleries, but don’t stop for a dram! The road undulates through forest and moorland before the final climb to the finish.  Two distances to suite your fitness and ambition.  The event is held largely within the boundaries of the Cairngorms National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Bike Safari 2017

Our annual Sponsored Bike Safari returns for its 6th year.  Come along and join in the fun!

This year, you can also try our new agility trail, built with some of the funds raised at last years Bike Safari.  The trail includes balance beams, treetop walks and hammocks to relax in after all that cycling!  Or test your nerves with a go on our flying fox zip wire.

Registration fees apply, 100% of which go towards the Appeal Fund.  This year we are raising money for a Sports and Recreation Centre to be build within the grounds of our Community.  This exciting project  will allow our residents, day students, international volunteers and staff to take part in daily activities, benefiting their health and at the same time giving us an opportunity to enhance social interaction skills with each other in a fun way.  It will also allow us to relocate planned outdoor activities which would otherwise have to be cancelled due our wonderfully unpredictable wet climate!

Download our registration and sponsorship pack below and return to Andrea either by post or to appealteam@camphillblairdrummond.org.uk no later than 5 June 2017 to take part.
