10am – our regular Tuesday led ride
Leaves from our Glasgow Green Cycle Centre every Tuesday.
FWN can also provide bikes and helmets, if you can please let us know in advance, so we can be ready to leave on time.
Free Wheel North specialise in leading cycle rides for groups young, old and everything in between. Working with schools, youth groups, families and adults we organise safe and sociable group rides exploring the city and its surroundings and showing that cycling is a great way to travel. Rides are planned by our qualified instructors to build up cycling skills, confidence and stamina and we work to support the individual needs of our participants.
We also have a wide range of adapted bikes for those with physical impairments.
Our led rides last year included youth rides to Whitelee Windfarm and urban growing spaces, family rides along the Forth and Clyde canal and regular after school cycle clubs, to name just a few. Through our rides, we aim to demonstrate that cycling is a safe, enjoyable, inclusive and responsible way to travel for all. If you are interested in commissioning led rides or finding out more, please contact us.
