Buffalo On Tour – Glasgow

Wednesday 7 June 2017
YOB10

Event Description

The Buffalo Bicycle is Going on Tour and will be visiting Glasgow on the 7th June. Come and hear how this simple durable bicycle is changing lives.

2017 marks the 200th anniversary of the bicycle. While the design has changed over the last two centuries, the life changing power of this incredible invention has not diminished. World Bicycle Relief have developed the Buffalo Bicycle, a tool that creates sustainable change for people in need.

World Bicycle Relief is an organisation that mobilises people in places where distance is a daily struggle. By designing, testing and distributing durable, reliable bicycles in a sustainable way they are helping to provide access to education, healthcare and opportunity to some of the World’s neediest communities. See The Power of The Bicycle in this video https://vimeo.com/179361840

This June World Bicycle Relief invites you to come and join us for a drink and see what makes The Buffalo the most important bicycle in the world. Learn how their innovative programmes are bringing mobility to thousands of people and find out you can join them to change lives through the Power of Bicycles.

7th June from 6:30pm – Bike Station, 65 Haugh Road, Glasgow G3 8TX
